Remember how this little knitting mouse had these big plans about all the projects she was going to get done in July?
Haha. Very funny. 😩
Current WIP Mountain Stats
Total WIPs: 18
Travel WIPs: 7
At-home WIPs: 8
Special WIPs: 3
Not very much change. In fact, the number of WIPs has grown! I have an extremely good reason for this.
The one project on the list that made it to completion is the “Snow”man Stocking, which features hand-sewn sequins, machine stitching, hand stitching, and hot gluing. I’m really happy with how he turned out!
There’s been a lot of assembly going on lately. Hand-sewing sequins takes a long time! And the Partridge In A Pear Tree applique project has more sequins yet than the “Snow”man Stocking. I only need to add sequins to 50 more appliques, which only sounds like a lot because 40 of them are small leaves. Once all the sequins are attached, I will at last be able to start hand-sewing the appliques. Some of them are already pinned in place and ready to go.
I am also taking a break from the WIP Mountain list to put together a set of baby booties and a lovey for a co-worker’s baby boy who is expected to arrive very soon. Newborns are perhaps the best extremely good reason there is! 😄
It may not look like it, but I have to say that July was quite productive! Take a look around the site. I’ve just added several new pages for the patterns I’ve designed, and I’ve tinkered around some more with customizing the theme settings. All in all, I’m really proud of how this site is coming together. And I’m not done yet! Watch for more coming up!
In my last two posts, I wrote about my newest yarn purchases. These will be used in some of my WIP Mountain projects. As you’ll read very soon, I’ll be working extensively on three extra special WIP Mountain projects during the Ravellenic Games. I’m very excited about what’s to come. Stay tuned for more on the Ravellenic Games coming in a few days!
